The SMPC Mentorship Committee is excited to launch an inaugural series of industry career talks this coming spring. SMPC has partnered with The Erdős Institute to create a music cognition track within the Invitations to Industry program, hosting industry professionals with backgrounds in music cognition to talk about their career paths and give tipsfor transitioning into industry. The goal is to help early career researchers get a clear understanding of career opportunities outside of academia,and provide opportunities for Q&A and networking.
