Over the last decade, women only accounted for 2.8% of the producers and 12.7% of the songwriters on the Billboard Hot 100 Year-End Chart (NPR). If you’re reading this, you most likely are working to change this current reality – to make the music industry more accessible and inclusive. So many of our favorite songs are, in fact, created by talented women – and they definitely should receive more recognition!

This Saturday, we will get to meet some of those producers, songwriters, and audio engineers. We’ll discuss the ins-and-outs to making a hit song, tips + tricks to elevating your production, and conclude with listening to some of YOUR music!

The event will be concluded with a listening session. 6-8 artists will have a chance to play their music in front of a live audience and will receive constructive criticism from our speakers.
