Self, Sense, Space: A Multi-Sensory Installation

December 8, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us for a multi-sensory installation created by D/deaf, Disabled and Neurodivergent artists, and directed by Nwando Ebizie.

This installation is the result of a four day gender equality residency exploring access as a creative practice and encouraging connection, collaboration and self-exploration between D/deaf, Disabled and Neurodivergent artists working across:

  • Music / Sound
  • Visual / Lighting
  • Scent / Olfactory
  • Touch / Textile

The project celebrates People’s History Museum’s (PHM) landmark exhibition Nothing About Us Without Us (on show until 16 October 2023) and is part of Brighter Sound’s mission to make music more accessible, equal and diverse.

The event is part of PHM’s co-curated programme of activity exploring the history of disabled people’s rights and activism.

Free entry, booking required. Suitable for ages 16+.
