Entertainment Management Workshop: AIM Experience Day

November 10, 2022 @ 11:30 am - 2:30 pm

A fun and interactive workshop exploring what you’ll learn in AIM’s entertainment management courses.

Our entertainment management degrees are designed to teach artists and future music industry professionals the business of music. Whether you’re a musician who needs the business knowledge to run your empire, have your sights set on a career with the world’s premier music companies or are looking to run your own business, our courses will provide you with the unique skill set to succeed.

Join Head of Entertainment Management Tim Kelly for a fun and immersive workshop exploring what our courses have to offer and what the future holds for the music industries. Tim’s background in entertainment is extensive. He founded One Little Indian Records, was Head of International at Rough Trade Records, GM Marketing at Universal Music Australia, GM Marketing Sony Australasia and Managing Director of Inertia Records. His expertise is a key element of why AIM’s entertainment management degrees produce successful graduates working with music thought leaders.

The workshop will also feature Tristonne Forbes, founder and start up expert from iHUB, AIM’s music startup incubator. IHUB supports the growth of our community of cutting-edge music tech startups. Music Victoria’s General Manager Dale Packard will share his insights on future opportunities in the Australian music industry. Attendees will also enjoy a performance by THNDO, one of Australia’s most exciting young artists.

This free experience is a must-attend for anyone keen to learn about our entertainment management courses, meet fellow students and get a deeper understanding of what it’s like to start your music career at AIM.
