DESCRIPTION:The Pro Tools Fundamentals I & 2 courses provide the training required to prepare for the Avid Certified User Pro Tools certification exam.\n\n\nW﻿elcome to Pro Tools Fundamentals  Part 1 & 2 at Women’s Audio Mission!  \nThese courses are designed for: \n\nMusicians\nAudio Engineers\nSound Editors for Film or Television\n\nY﻿ou can purchase Part 1 and Part 2 (with approval from the instructor) separately at $250 each\, or purchase both courses for only $475! \n______ \nThe Pro Tools Fundamentals 1 course introduces fundamental Pro Tools concepts and principles\, covering everything an individual needs to know to complete a basic Pro Tools project\, from initial setup to final mixdown. \nStudents also learn to build sessions that include multi-track recordings of live audio\, MIDI sequences\, and virtual instruments. Hands-on exercises and projects introduce essential techniques for creating sessions\, recording and importing audio and MIDI\, editing session media\, navigating sessions and arranging media on tracks\, and using basic processing and mixing techniques to finalize a production. Within the Recording Academy leadership\, Mary Ann served on the National Board of Trustees and led the San Francisco Board as Chapter President. As an educator\, Mary Ann has taught studio recording\, production\, entertainment business\, and audio post production atat San Francisco Conservatory of Music\, Expression College and at San Francisco State University. She especially enjoys working with emerging artists and engineers and the energy they bring to the evolving field of music. Mary Ann also grew up playing classical violin and for many years has participated in Traditional Mexican Son and classical African music ensembles. She holds a BA Music from University of California\, Berkeley\, and a Masters in Education from University of San Francisco.
