DESCRIPTION:AIM’s new school holiday workshop is designed for high school students interested in audio production and working in the recording studio.\n\n\nCreated for students in Years 9-12\, the Australian Institute of Music’s new two-day high school music workshops provide incredible opportunities to experience playing music or working in the recording studio\, mentored by AIM’s own accomplished musicians and educators.  \n“SONGS BEATS & SOUNDS – PRODUCTION” WORKSHOP \nLearn the critical skills of the contemporary composer. Take your musical ideas and create tracks from inception to final mix\, learning from composers\, producers and audio engineers. \nWhat will you do? Create and compose in our digital media lab using professional workstations under the expert guidance of industry composers and producers. Each day you will also work in our SSL recording studio\, learning how to record tracks and mix works to professional standards.

Over two days\, we will teach you to perform and play a versatile mix of songs you’ll love to learn. You’ll also participate in some other highly collaborative music activities. All students will then have the opportunity to perform the songs you’ve honed live on our concert stage\, in front of family and friends!
